Behind the Design

Can you imagine Giannis taking his talents to the football pitch? Patrolling the backline? Posting up smaller defenders around the net for headers? The Freak's first love was actually futbol, but luckily for us and the basketball world, his forte is fully on the hardwood. That said, this special design draws inspiration from Giannis's second-favourite sport, taking cues from of our more popular silvery blue football boots from yesteryear.

Side-to-side speed

See that white groove splitting down the middle of the forefoot's outsole? We specifically decoupled the outsole to make side-to-side movements such as the Euro Step easier to pull off, whether you're in transition or swivelling around a defender at the rim.

Softer ride

We made the midsole's foam softer than the Giannis Immortality 2, for a more flexible, forgiving underfoot experience when sprinting the floor and filling the lanes.

Lock in

A synthetic midfoot strap offers varying levels of lock-down, so you can stay steady when moving from side to side. The upper uses an engineered mesh that's light and breathable.

Get in and go

The oversized pull loops on the tongue and heel help you slide into the design quicker and easier.
