Shoes are light, Supportive, Comfortable, Tread is perfect for clay. Wore them in a tournament recently and really appreciated the attention to the lateral (side to side) support as well as the heal counter balance which I noticed the benefits of. The shoes were very good out of the box as I had less than a 3 day break in period with them prior to competition. I’m typically hard on my competition shoes, but these held up remarkably well after competition. The toe protection was appreciated as well (this is normally an area for fast wear on my end).

These shoes are great! While they do run a tiny bit small (I’d go half a size up), it may be just a matter of not breaking them in fully yet. I have ankle issues due to many years of playing basketball and these shoes make me feel super confident in their ankle support. While they provide ample support for my ankles, they still let you move around in them like you need to while playing tennis. They’re excellent for quick turns and sliding as well. They remind me a lot of the basketball sneakers I would buy that would help my ankles, and I’m confident these will stop any possible ankle turns!
