I wake up wearing my ACG tracksuit bottoms and Carhartt x Supply x Nike Snow camo and I am sad it's over. Like after summer camp or a music festival where you made a bunch of friends and you're fat and happy from all the pizza and drinks. Nike Surplus Calories. Everyone is so kind and generous that I start to feel embarrassed by the mindset I came into the week with. Local kids tell me how much fun they've had, how the city rarely has this much going on, and how they don't usually go out at night. People love to talk about "community" and "culture" when it comes to their brand's mission statement, but this is the real thing: people coming together simply to celebrate a shared love of food, music, fashion and film. It doesn't even feel like a means to an end, just a genuinely good time.
