 Avant-garde designer Melitta Baumeister transforms the everyday into the sublime through her signature sculptural design language. Her work is rooted in the idea that you bring the body, she brings the shape—with clothing and shoes designed as sculpted objects. Using the idea of a "shoe formed by hand", she took hold of the Rift 2 and shaped it into a new creation. The Rift Rocker is equal parts function and form. Patinated leather layers over a neoprene-like upper, secured with a grosgrain forefoot strap. Clay-like moulded Swoosh logos on the toe tip and laces give the shoe a handmade feel. The translucent outsole features a customised 'MB' traction pattern atop graphics of footprints. SKU: IR3982-200
