In the summer of 1985, transport vehicles departed from Nike HQ in Beaverton, Oregon, carrying special product deliveries headed to Hawkins High. Unfortunately, a few of the deliveries never made it. Nike, concerned and confused, never mentioned these missing deliveries to anyone for fear that something supernatural was at play.

Update: Our fears were confirmed. The last of these mysteriously missing deliveries have been discovered. This is no ordinary apparel collection, but now something far darker, more sinister. If you dare to wear them, be fearless. There will be no more hiding from what lurks just below the surface.
