Grooves under the toes help keep it flexible enough for agility drills. Grippy traction helps keep you moving on various gym surfaces.

My daughter loves them but they run VERY small. She normally wears a size 7.5, got her an 8, which was very snug, so re-ordering a whole size and a half up hoping that does the trick. I love how lightweight they are.
Cheap looking cheaper feeling when worn

These shoes are the cheapest I have ever bought. For the first time in 46 years I am completely disappointed with Nike. These shoes feel cheaply made on and off the foot. Lightweight, yes but with that said the support being an “athletic” shoe, just is NOT there.
