Squeaks after short wear period.

Shoe Squeaks on all surfaces. I love the look and bought 3 pairs of Junipers (different styles). After first two weeks of wearing them, all 3 pairs have a squeak that seems to be from some inter rubber rubbing against itself. Happens on all surfaces, carpet, concrete, smooth surfaces. A quality/design flaw for sure.

Unless you want a squeaky shoe, don't buy...

Heel Slips

I tried the sneakers on and my heel is not secure, it keeps slipping up and down. Not sure if I need to go down 1/2 a size and maybe that will work. Besides that the sneaker felt comfortable.

I got this as a gift for my husband he loves doing a lot of mountain trails. He says the shoes have incredible resistance and grip. They are very light weight and comfortable. He love them. Definitely recommend.

Tl;dr - Rugged, comfortable walker that offers enough surface area without compromising functionality. (Leaked through instep sole seam after a yr)

Basically, this is the quintessential medium range walker that's perfect for rainy days, yard work, and even recreation, sans the real hiking stuff. By and large, these shoes have accommodated my stubborn feet, and their prescribed orthotics, for well over a year. As I write this, my worn sock has finally felt the familiar sensation of moisture... yet I still hesitate to retire them.

It is what it is.. a great shoe

Great shoe for what it was made for. Running on dirt trails or even just walking is very comfortable yet "cool".

I'm not a Nike person to be honest just my second pair of sneakers in my life but decided to give it a try and it's worth it at first it's not like it but the days go by and it's more comfortable

Good shoe, tight on the heal

Great looking shoe and seems to be made well so should stand up to some trail runs, I will say the sizing runs small so probably look at a 1/2 size up, getting some rub on the heal.

Nike Juniper Trail 2 Mens Running Shoes Review

Love the way this trail model resembles the Pegasus models, however tears and damage to the mesh have occurred before even hitting 100km in them. Upsetting that such a nice shoe is already so quickly damaged.
