Awesome Running Shoes; very comfortable compared to the Nike Vaporfly 3. However, there are noisy squeaky shoes; felt like a toddler wearing baby squeaky shoes on Day 1. Vaporfly 3 are very light but the foam X on the heel side is not durable; it gets badly beaten up after a year of use. That’s the reason why I switched to Alphafly 3; hopefully these shoes last longer as they are more expensive.

Whenever someone trains with Eliud Kipchoge, they're asked to plant a tree at his base camp to signify their growth. The sockliner graphics mimic that growth with branches moving forwards towards the front of the shoe. The Red Clay colour fade nods to the Kenyan dirt that stains the shoes when training. The font is a play on African trees that have fractal-like patterns on the surfaces.

Returned to running after a 40 year break. Six months in I decided to run a marathon on five days notice. I got these because they are supposed to reduce fatigue and make recovery faster. I ran sub-4 at age 57 with six months of training and a five day taper. The next day I had no problems running six miles. Nineteen days later I ran a half in these and set a post-high school PB in the mile, 2 mile, 5K, 5 mile, 10K, 15K, 10 mile and half. In these shoes, I run like a different person.
