How This Was Made

  • The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. From there, the pellets are spun into new, high-quality yarn used in our products, delivering peak performance with a lower impact on the environment.
  • In addition to reducing waste, recycled polyester produces up to 30% lower carbon emissions than virgin polyester. Nike diverts an average of 1 billion plastic bottles annually from landfill and waterways.

  • Design is iconic, but I wouldn't wear it in a game

I love the DARK MODE Utah design and I'd been wanting it for a while. I think I'll be keeping this one, but I've been a bit disappointed by it in some respects. You can faintly see it on the photo, but there's a hem ridge that goes between the black part of the jersey and the sunset part. Unfortunately, on the XL that runs right over the sensitive part of your chest, making it uncomfortable to wear on its own. I wish they had put a bit more effort into the construction, as for right now, it looks a little cheap. I'm a real jersey-head and a big Utah fan, but this was a bit disappointing for me.
