Nike and WINDOWSEN unite to create a shoe that looks like it stepped straight out of the '90s rave scene and onto the runway. WINDOWSEN's take on the Air Max Muse uses a mix of synthetic and textile materials in spunky colors like Metallic Gold and Chile Red to conjure an otherworldly look. Paired with the lenticular print, the shoe appears to shift and morph when seen from different angles. Small details, like aliens on the outsole and the dubrae, keep things tastefully spacey.
WINDOWSEN's founder and designer, Sensen Lii, is known for his couture meets clubwear aesthetic. By mixing the theatrical and the avant-garde with high fashion, Lii envisions a dreamland where norms get erased and traditions get twisted.
