The Nike Air Max III was an evolution from the original 1987 Air Max with updated features including a bigger visible air window, a flex groove outsole and an eye-catching shade of colors that highlighted these updates. When the shoe was reissued in 2000, it took its name from the year of its launch (1990) and became the Air Max 90. Considered to be the second flagship sneaker of the Air Max legacy and designed by Tinker Hatfield.
