The Jordan Brand connection to the Philippines is deeply rooted in the country’s love for the game of basketball. His Airness is adored across generations of Pinoy ballers. The older guys watched him play. They were followed by the guys who watched Kobe imitate MJ. Followed by the guys who battled and tried to imitate Kobe. They all respected MJ and connected personally with him through his shoes.

Jordan footwear in the Philippines became synonymous with the hallmarks of MJ’s style of play – iconic and unapologetic.

Not only has Manila been holding its breath for a Jordan store for years, the city needed something to look forward to after an incredibly challenging year, so the opening couldn’t have come at a better time.

The 4,500 square feet store design aesthetic pays homage to MJ, the local community and the game of basketball while representing the best of Jordan Brand in terms of products and services.

 While it’s no surprise that the high heat drops have flown off the shelves – starting with the Air Jordan 4 Retro “Manila” - consumers are equally excited about Custom 23 where they can customize & add their personal touch to Jordan products.

It’s not only the presence of Jordan brand in Manila, but the hyperlocal elements of the store that truly speak to the Manileño’s love for all things basketball and MJ. Local artists are highlighted throughout the space to infuse the vibrant Filipino flavor.

We knew we had to bring the heat for her at the Jordan Manila door through apparel and footwear, but we wanted to take it a step further.
