Its easy. Really easy to get one and take off one handed. I've gone laceless for awhile, but this ensures a nice confident fit while I'm working out. Good cost too. I was hoping for the perennially sold out go flyease - but this ended up better for me.
Super comfortable daily drivers

These shoes are super easy to get into and the material on top stretches easily to fit your feet nicely. This is especially nice for the larger sizes, as things like skate shoes and general fashion sneakers tend to not fit all that well at the upper end of the size spectrum, if they even come in large sizes to begin with. Prior to buying these I dailied a pair of KB Mentality's for a couple of years, until I had worn holes in the soles of both shoes near the front and wore off a good chunk of the soles in the back. Having size 14 feet, it took a good while to find a pair of shoes that would not only stand up over time like my old KBs did, but also wouldn't hurt my feet. At the time of writing I've only had the R5s for a day, but I can vouch that they at least tick the latter box. I'll update later (if possible) with how they've held up as daily drivers. The particular implementation of Flyease on these are kind of strange if you're used to standard shoes but you get the hang of it very quickly. I'm not the target audience for the tech, but I still appreciate the strides Nike are making to make athletic footwear accesible to those who may find lace-up shoes harder to use, and for making the system available on (relatively) affordable sneakers like the R5s. My only gripe is the color selection available. Red and white - the color I chose - is really the only interesting color on offer, and it's not even available on the extra wide version. Some greens, oranges, and yellows, along with a blue and white variant of some kind, would be much appreciated, but the ho-hum selection wasn't a deal breaker for me personally. Overall, I'm very happy with these shoes. They look good, feel good around the feet, and are really easy to get into. Long-term durability is still up in the air and the color selection could be better, though.
