Designed with sustainability in mind, the Nike Air VaporMax 2020 Flyknit is made from at least 50% recycled content by weight. That's a lot of trash! As part of Nike's journey towards lowering our impact, we're discovering new ways to put our waste to good use. By utilising leftover materials, recycled polyester, recycled foam and a Nike Air-Sole made from at least 75% recycled TPU, the VaporMax 2020 Flyknit marks the next step towards our ultimate goal of zero carbon and zero waste.

This product was responsibly designed utilising recycled materials from post-consumer and/or post-manufactured waste. One of our biggest steps on our journey to zero carbon and zero waste is in choosing our materials because they account for more than 70% of any product's footprint. By reusing existing plastics, yarns and textiles, we significantly reduce our emissions. Our goal is to use as many recycled materials as possible without compromising on performance, durability and style.

I enjoy the shoes I just don’t like the release knob on the top. I feel like it looks like an ankle tracker or like you stole the shoes. So far they seem to support my foot well and I like the colors. I bought them from foot locker so even though I’m a woman I bought a man shoe.

Take it from a person who normally does not buy shoes over $120. I was randomly browsing the Nike website for the first time (I'm more of an in-person shopper...gotta try 'em on before I buy 'em kind of person) and saw the Oatmeal color on the home page. I clicked on the photo of the shoe, read the description, and bought them right away. I didn't wear them right away but the very first time I did, I walked in them for about five hours straight. SO comfortable. I have narrow feet, though and these do seem a little narrow on the front yet the shoe itself runs big. I'm usually a women's size 6 but sized down to a 5.5 and they fit wonderful. As for the lacing system, I'm not too crazy about it because I don't tie my shoes anyway (I prefer shoes that are easy on/off) but they sure do look cool. Mainly bought these for looks and sustainable material they are said to be made of.

I absolutely loved the look of my vapormax. If you are okay spending this much money on a shoe that only lasts about a year go for it. The bubble popped on both shoes quickly after the warranty. I will continue to buy Nike product, but I will never buy a vapormax again.
