  • Wide foot

Big fan of the 2 and 3 gen of this shoe. I was excited with this new gen. Only reason I give it a 3 stars is because the tongue is stitched to the sides and as a person with a semi wide foot. Trying to get my foot into the shoe can be a pain. Sometimes it digs into my foot where the tongue is stitched. So beware of that flaw. I’ll be returning my second pair.

  • Low arch and tight

I bought these based on my road-running Pegasus shoes, but they feel different. Maybe due to the gore-tex membrane that is not stretchy, but the opening of a shoe is really tight, and the area where the tongue is stitched to the sides presses badly if one has a high-arch foot like me.

  • Ok, not an improvement on the 3, for me at least

Like the okd version better. I gardened and landscaped in the peg3 gtx all year and into fall. This new version i wouldnt have bought if i tried them on in a store. Where did the thick rubber outsole go? These wont last nealy as long once the tread goes thin.Just seems like a cheaper version of the 3 with a wider toeboxwhich os the only good part.. so frustrating when you find a goid shoe they discontinue or cheapen it in newer iterations.
