PG 5

The Nike PG-5 shoe is a light, yet durable shoe that provides comfort and style. When you put on the shoe you feel it hug your feet, providing great ankle support. This shoe is good for agility, as the material seems tough enough to withhold long-term wear. I am not much for flashy shoes, so I like the simplicity and style of the shoe. You can wear it active or casual. Only complaint I have is that it could provide a little more arch support. Overall, this is a great shoe if you are looking for a light, durable, and simple style design.

The PG 5 basketball shoes are great! After wearing them for a week these are the pros I’ve found: great grip design on the bottom(never once found myself slipping/sliding); great ankle support (the cushion around the ankle fits tight and feels really snug); relatively lightweight (doesn’t feel heavy at all to me but not the lightest I’ve worn); great design (the black with gold and orange highlights look good as I like black/dark shoes). Cons: Slightly narrow across the front, my left foot fits perfectly but my right foot feels a little cramped so I would size up for those who have wider feet. I loosened the laces up front and was fine wearing them all day at work and around the house and didn’t get any blisters or have sore feet. Knowing what I know now about this shoe, I will plan on purchasing other styles from the Paul George lineup as I think the ankle support feels better to me than any other basketball shoe I’ve had recently.

The first thing you will notice with the shoes is how well they hug your feet. Immediately you notice that the fit is true to size and offers tremendous support. Making cuts during cardio workouts will benefit as these shoes offer natural movement. Once you start walking you notice the cushion on the bottom that is taking off the tension on your feet. After spending a day in these shoes, the support and comfort that they offer is immediately noticeable. So if these are shoes for everyday walking, you won’t be disappointed. The design has done a great job of incorporating modern and classic looks into the shoe. The classic black and gold compliment the highlight colors on the side very well. I do not play basketball often, but I shot around a bit in them and felt very comfortable with movement due to the snug fit and light weight. I am not seeing or feeling anything I would change with these shoes. Some may consider the colors to limit outfit options, but that is a personal preference. I think they go very well with everything due to black being the primary color.
