My passion has always lived in street wear and luxury, and that's why I created this space. My name is Mo and this is my shop. 

I'm Ali, Store Manager for Denim Exchange. Denim Exchange has been around for over 25 years for a reason. It's the love that the community shows us. 

That's the love that built Denim Exchange, and that's why everything we do is for them. Every sneaker has a story for me, I like the smell of sneakers, new sneakers. If I'm having a bad day, I put on a fresh pair of sneakers and I feel good about myself. 

Growing up, every pair told a story. What you stood for, what you believed in, or what era you were from. I want to say that that's part of the LA sneaker culture. The people of Southeast LA have a heartbeat that's unmatched...

...are full of hustle and resilience and creativity. We're here to serve these people and provide the sneakers and apparel that the community is looking for. We're always involved in the community. We ask what events are happening...

...and we try to join in. We try to support local teams. We're trying to just always be a part of the community. We see these young girls become nice basketball players. It is good that they can dream. Dreams are what makes reality. 

Demin Exchange has played a pivotal role in our program success and in all the community at South Central. I've been coming to Demin Exchange for about 24 years now. I get all my stuff here, my hats, my jeans...

...my shoes, pretty much everything. I'm going to be the first person with a Denim Exchange tattoo. Pretty sick, yeah. What makes me proud to call this place home is just the everyday moments. 

We always have people come in and just chop it up with us and these are the people that make us proud and these are the people that we want to serve.
