I think it's as simple as, you look good, you feel good, you play good. I dunno if you wanted some deep answer, but that is what it is.

My name's Matt Tomamichel and I'm the owner of Corporate. I'm Corey Stone. I'm the general manager at Corporate Indianapolis. Corporate opened up in 2008. We started off in Cincinnati. We've always kind of had our eyes on Indianapolis...

...Right? Continuing to figure out the Midwest and be able to be kind of a pillar, not only for sneakers but for the community. So I've been with Corporate for about 15 years. Grew up in the shop. We've been in Indianapolis for four years now. So many markets where you come in as an outsider...

...and people may be hesitant and kind of view you that way and embracing you, but given the kind of culture gap that was present, people were just super excited to have another retailer in the space and be given a voice again.

...Indianapolis, Nap Town people, whatever you want to call them. India-animals. That's trademarked. Swipe that! They have the same chip on their shoulder as any other smaller Midwest city where we're just like, we know about this culture too.

We want to play in this game too. The Midwest has always been considered slow, fashionably. To be able to kind of get new styles and new things that are going on in the rest of the world to this region faster is a big driving force and the things that we bring in.

Success is what you can do for yourself. Significance is what you can do for others. That's like what makes Corporate, Corporate. So we like to leave our doors open to new artists...

...through the Bigger Than Sneakers nonprofit arm of the business. We offer pop-ups, spaces in all three of our doors. It's great to be able to give people a platform. 
When you're organic, when you're naturally you, you never have to take off a mask...

...like, man, you can hit me up anytime, you're going to get Matt. Acceptance is the big thing that I would like them to walk away with. I don't care if you buy something when you come in the shop. I want to know who you are, connect with you first, whether it's a Saturday morning release or if you run into me up the street.

We're going to have the same interaction. We hope that we're the same person that we hope to have met when we came into Corporate. Make this feel like it's your home and hopefully good things come from it, like 16 year relationships.
