Nike React Infinity Run Flyknit 2

  i ran these shoes to death. i ran a half marathon in them last month and have logged about 15-20 miles per week the past 6 months i have had them for almost a year and they took me a little time to get used to - i ran in brooks glycerins/ghost for 6 years, then switched to nike AirPegs and bought these at the same time. i run on my toes so i love the cushion in the forefoot and roomy upper/lace section. i had the React2s that i bought in 2019 and loved them but these have been a fine alternative so far. i did like the sleekness of the old Reacts better

  I usually wear Nike size 36.5 , but on this shoes,I bought size 37, fit well, I wear this shoes for outdoor walking, is the best shoes, super comfy, light weight, I love it.

• Too big AND too small

  I'd gotten these shoes to explore having multiple pairs for different purposes (I also purchased the Zoom Fly 4, disappointingly those did not work for me at all), especially since a friend had recently had a bad ankle injury, so stability was on my mind... and also the black/gold design was so nice! Unfortunately, these shoes do not fit well. I have worn Nike size 7s across many years and many shoes, but the toe box on these is TIGHT, to the point of it feeling like my big toe is going to be bruised. But it doesn't seem like getting a bigger size would be the solution, as the heel already feels borderline loose on these, so it would be even looser with a bigger size -- a no-win situation. These also were a lesson for me on the different between a stability model and a performance model -- very humbling to instantly have my pace increase by more than a minute per mile using these shoes versus the Zooms. Would have traded off the speed for the stability if these had fit, but as it is, will be returning these.
