I don't get why a majority of the reviews found these to be narrow. Because of them, I ordered .5 size up and found them to be too big to be a running shoe. If you plan on standing around in them, then sure size up for a nice loose fit. But I recommend going true to size for the proper support and if you find them to be too narrow they are likely to break in anyway. For reference I have flat feet and EEE wide feet.
too narrow for my choice

I would recommend size up half a number. Greta for running and daily use. I would buy them again. Not suitable when it rains.
Why are the reviews so mixed?

It does seem like you either hate or love the shoe since so many compare it to the Epic React. My feet are weird and I am dealing with a lot of exchanges are returns because of it, my left foot is a size 11 and my right foot is a size 10.5. In other brands... if they are slimmer I am a 11 and if they are wider I am a 10.5. I bring this up because most of the time one shoe fits perfect and the other either too big or too small... but I got these in a 11 and they wrap my foot great. I tried the epic react and they didn't feel as stable, I think with the cage it brings the shoe a tighter fit. If the toe box is too narrow for some... it has served me well. This is just a overall solid shoe for the price, you really can't beat it. It isn't an epic react, the heel cage makes it a completely different shoe. I just think people like the epic react and give it better reviews because it looks similar to a different shoe from a different company, but do not be fooled- this shoe stands on it's own.
