I've had the metcon 3's for a couple of years and finally have worn them out - these new versions do not disappoint! I love everything about them with the exception of one main flaw for me - the insoles are wonderfully thick and comfy, but there's little to no arch support (uncommon for nike, which is why I always wear this brand). The thickness of the insole means that you cannot replace it with orthotic insoles unless you want a shoe with absolutely no cushion. I've tried adding my insoles on top of the standard insoles, but this is way too cumbersome. It would be awesome if Nike could make additional insoles with arches (for purchase even). I'm trying to salvage a work around because these shoes are so awesome - but so far each try has been grossly inferior. Please Nike, make some additional options for those of us beleaguered with high arches!

These are great. I have high arches and used these for weight lifting and weight lifting group classes. I have a hard time finding shoes that support my high arches and these are great.
