Nike Air Zoom G.T. Jump

  The Nike Air Zoom G.T. Jump is a very responsive and stable basketball shoe. It makes it easy to make quick lateral movements with the combination of the full length Zoom Air that provides springy cushioning and the superior outsole grip for traction. A typical concern for basketball shoes is stability - the Flywire cables and Air Tongue System keeps my feet in place that ankle rolling became non-existent. The shoes seem a little bulky at the back, but it feels so much lighter than it looks. The forefoot area was on the tight side out of the box that eventually contoured to my feet within the first hour of playing. Overall, the build quality feels premium and two thumbs up for the design since my little one said that it’s ‘Super-duper cool’!   Too clunky of a shoe for me if your a shifty more agile player this isn’t the shoe. The G.T. Cuts are the best in the series by far.

• Great Everyday Basketball Shoes

  Overall upon arrival and opening of the shoes, I have to say I was personally astounded on the design and complexity of all the small details taken in creating and developing these shoes. I mean these shoes definitely scream a space theme just like the shoe listing mentions. It was a nice touch with the purple accent at the lower bottom heal, and the star like design on the body of the shoes. When trying these shoes they did fit a bit tight on the sides, but nothing unbearable per say. The tightness of the shoes is just about the same as any other new pair of shoes one purchases. It eventually loosened up to a nice snug fit. The shoe itself is true too size, based on the size 9 shoe I got. I used these shoes to go to an amusement park all day and I gotta say, its not your recommended everyday shoe to wear. The comfort is lacking in these shoes for everyday use. Just by picking the shoe up you can tell its heavy and not lightweight by any means. However thats not to say that they aren’t great for playing basketball. As the title of the shoes says, they are designated as basketball focused shoes. Nonetheless they did not disappoint when playing a game of basketball with friends at the park. They offered great stability and support around the ankle, which Im prone to injuries often. The high top design is definitely a plus, for those looking for support around the ankles. One thing I would enjoy seeing from these shoes is improvement in the comfort department, especially the soles themselves, as wearing these all day caused soreness on heel of my legs after a prolonged period of use. Overall, these are great shoes and would definitely purchase another pair in the near future once these get worn out.
