Stability plus cushion.

HollyM29239240 - Sep 30, 2021

I really love these. They have the right balance of cushion plus stability. I had tried some of the other models with the zoom cushion and found the platforms a little too narrow. I was always worried about rolling my ankles on uneven terrain. These are very plush but also have a wider platform under the heel and a wider toe box, so they feel much more stable. I bought the lavender color. It is a little lighter than depicted which I love. I did size up .5 and they fit perfect. Thank you Nike!

Great distance shoe - half marathon / marathon

MegG286287896 - Aug 17, 2021

This is such great shoe. I've never had anything like it. My husband and I both have a pair and have found that they have limited injury overall and prevented relieved runner's knee pain (or we think they have at least). Be warned - they are squishy. It's an odd feeling and I don't enjoy wearing them when I am not running. With all that said, they are so worth it for long training sessions (6+ miles), especially on pavement. I primarily run on bike trails. I trained for and ran a marathon in them and had zero blisters or any foot bruising. I don't love them for responsiveness - I would avoid them for quick pace runs - since they are definitely a plush ride.

Favorite shoe for BIG miles

Read the claims on these shoes and was somewhat skeptical as I haven't had good luck with Nike running shoes, but these have become my absolute favorite pair for long runs. I've rotated them in with other well known brands for marathon+ distances and these are the most comfortable as the miles rack up. They've also been shockingly durable -- ran 2 marathons and a 50K in them and still use them occasionally for shorter/mid-distance. They're super grippy for a road shoe, the laces are thick and never come loose, they feel lightweight even though they're heavier than some of my other shoes (go figure that one out, might be the weight distribution), and my heel feels snug. I always go up half a size for running shoes and an 8 has enough room for foot expansion in long miles + heat without blister/toenail disasters. Absolutely worth the price, about to buy my second pair.
