Too wide in the front

The shoe is great but is too wide in the front and I don't like that, too bad for that..

Best running shoe yet!

Brandon - Apr 17, 2021

Easily the best running shoe in have ever worn.  I have been running for about 25 years. I used to run about 30 miles a week but now I run about  9 miles a week with lots of hills and usually pushing a jogging stroller loaded with 2 kids. My knees and lower back usually cause pain when I run but with these shoes some magic happens and I feel no pain. The shock absorbsion is nothing short of amazing. Even on hard downhill strides you can't feel the shock. It also feels like they help you run with better form. I'm actually excited to run just so I can wear these shoes. Style could use a little more color. Plain black and white is classic but kind of boring for running shoes. The heel looks a bit awkward but actually makes it easier to remove the shoe after wearing and doesnt feel awkward when wearing them. I used the highest shoelace hole as my heel slipped a little with slick socks. My foot measures 11 inches long with average width and the 11.5 was the perfect fit. No hot spots.

True Shoe Magic

Kgardner - Apr 17, 2021

Having the Zoomx Invincible shoes was a lesson in expectations, science, and magic. The first time I slipped these shoes on to go for a run, I wasn’t quiet expecting what I got. And I have used a lot of shoes having been a runner since high school cross country and track. Overall, here is a quick run down of my experience: - Feel and Function: 5/5 - Fit and Comfort: 5/5 - Design: 4/5, but this may not really matter in the end when you are buying for function and not form. First, feel and function. I’ll honestly say I have NEVER had a shoe feel the way this shoe did. I expected a running shoe, but what these shoes do is give you a spring in the step. What does that mean? I’d categorize running shoes into a few categories: (1) the standard everyday running shoes, (2) the ultra light feel like nothing trainers, (3) the heavy heel strike adjusters for pronation or supination, and (4) the trail runners. For me, no category is bad, but every shoe usually serves a purpose in one of these 4 categories. The Nike Zoomx are a distance shoe but I couldn’t categorically classify them into any of these categories, so I am putting them in the “magic class.” The feel of the shoe literally feels springy. When you run, it feels almost like a trampoline push coming back up the leg as you strike the foot (not in a bad way but a good way). The shoe feels like it pushes you to keep moving and to be on the balls of your feet. It does all this without feeling heavy or bulky on the foot. The feel and function match well for a distance trainer. If you are looking for more than a casual trainer or something to shake things up, I’d definitely recommend the shoe. Next, fit and comfort. I don’t have a lot to say here. I don’t know that anything stood out by default in an amazingly good or bad way. The shoe is comfortable on the foot and isn’t distracting to the experience. Last, design. I should first admit I am particular about the look of a shoe. If you aren’t like me, this probably won’t matter. My one gripe of the shoe is just how bulky it looks. I like a slim and minimal, clean line look. I thought the black would meet that expectation, but I wish instead I had the more colorful version. This is all because the heel of the shoe is literally larger than any heel on any shoe I have owned. Ideally, it would be nice if it could be slimmed (width and depth) down to look a little cleaner, but I do admit I am not sure that is even possible without compromising the most important aspect of the shoe: function. So if I have any advice to give here, it is don’t go conservative, instead go more bold (aka colorful fabric choice) as it compliments the large heel anyways. In summary, I really really like the shoe, even with my one gripe on the design; and being real, this isn’t a shoe that is made for walks around the mall. I’ll be using the shoe for lots of runs to come. Nike Zoomx Invincible is true shoe magic.
