Grown to hate this shoe

Out of the box this shoe had everything I was looking for: plushness for those longer runs, clean design that wasn't too fussy, not overly structured to provide some freedom for my feet, breathability through the upper. However, during my runs, my left foot gets progressively more and more numb until about 2-3 miles in I have to rest for 30 or so seconds to let blood flow back into my foot. After that, I have another 2-3 miles before having to repeat. For my 10+ mile runs, this has been pretty frustrating. I originally thought this was because I needed more time to break in the shoes, but after having put some solid mileage into the pair, I have little to no faith this issue is going to resolve itself. To be clear, this is not an issue that I've experienced with my next%s or turbo 2s (RIP), so I don't think it's necessarily related to my running mechanics (perhaps the shoes exacerbate an issue that the others don't). I'm perhaps thinking the super plushness plus the ergonomics of the midsole are perhaps not good for my running style, but I really can't say. I just purchased pairs of Pegasus 38 and Zoom Fly 4 to test out and hopefully either let me wane my dependence on these or replace them outright in my running routine.

The most comfortable shoe on the market!! I love these and I’ll never go back to any other style again. They’re perfect for everyday as well I get a ton of compliments on them. Highly recommend this shoe worth every penny!

Took a leap from the React Infinity Run Flyknit to the ZoomX Invincible Run Flyknit and love the performance of the shoe. My average mileage per week is about 20 and have 127 miles currently on my Invincibles. They've held up nicely so far and I am just noticing the bounce from the foam taking its toll and will retire at 150 miles. The bounce def lasted longer than the Infinity Run's ( 2 pairs) where I retired them at about 100 miles each. What I do not like about the Invincibles is needing to tie my shoe every time since the Invincible does not cover the upper as much as the Infinity where as I did not have to tie my shoes to always have the same consistent feel. To note, I only use the mentioned shoes above to run in, (no walking or casual wear) since that is what they are designed for.. to run in.. I stand 5',10" and weigh 175lbs..
