Scrunches up at seam

I bought this because I wanted a high waisted workout short. The shorts do this really weird thing where they poof out at the seam between the elastic and the nylon. It looks really unflattering. I own other high waisted shorts and this doesn't happen for any other pair I own.

Fit cute! I’m a medium for all shorts, including these. They aren’t baggy, and the legs fall nice and flat on the front and around the buttox. They don’t have much flexibility for deep squats though. So not the best lifting shorts, but great for running/jogging.

Ran smaller than what I thought they would

I always buy size Medium in my running shorts, I don't like them tight at all. But these must run small because once I wore them, they felt too snug and I haven't worn them since. I'm a ladies size 4, so I do wear smalls in my regular workout shorts, but when it comes to running, I like mine looser fitting. I should have bought a size Large, but I've never had to wear a large running short before, so who knew??
