How This Was Made
- In 2019, 86% of our cotton was organic, recycled, or Better Cotton. We are working to source more sustainable cotton across our entire product line, with a goal to reach 100% by the end of 2020. That means using certified organic and recycled cotton, and cotton sourced through the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI).
- BCI trains farmers to use water efficiently, care for soil health and natural habitats, reduce use of the most harmful chemicals and respect workers’ rights and wellbeing. Organic cotton delivers the same long-lasting comfort and breathability as conventional cotton, and is grown without the use of fossil fuel-derived pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. Since organic cotton is developed using farming techniques that help replenish soil fertility, it also has a lower carbon impact than conventional cotton.

Good Things Come In Too Large Of Sizes

I love this shirt, however need to return it for a smaller size. I am learning that the higher the quality, the smaller the size I need to order. For instance the lower priced t-shirts fit perfectly the first time. The higher priced higher quality items run way big on me. For example the Skate Shirts are high quality and run humongous.

Usually most items that are “standard fit” are TTS, but this is one where you should definitely think about sizing down. I say this as the upper portions of the top fit well, but the sleeves are a bit long and the mid-section and down on the top is far too wide. This is probably due to the zipper pocket but the tee-shirt version of this item didn’t have this sizing issue and was TTS, so what gives?
