Upon testing these cleats, I can honestly say that the dynamic fit is true to statement, when I wore these for practice and games, It felt like I was gliding through the turf and grass. Not one time did I have to stop and tie my laces, the cleats spikes offered perfect grip on the field. The sleak design and color patterns really set this cleat off. Whether on turf or grass these performed exquisitely, the fabric kept my feet dry in dewy conditions. I can honestly say these are the most comfortable cleats I’ve owned to date. One thing I would change is that I struggled to put them on due to the right neck, other than that I would recommend to any played on the field.

I have the PHANTOM LUNA II ELITE FG in a black color style and size 10. First of all this boot is slightly heavier than other models, but still lightweight and I didn’t feel any impact while running and playing a couple of games. These boots are extremely comfortable and I didn’t feel any foot fatigue after hours of wear. There is no need to size down as some other models, as these boots run true to size. I have a slightly wider foot and would have the need to quickly remove a boot from another brand. The cleats on soles are strategically placed and are not felt through the bottom of my feet. The circular placement of the cleats was a little weird at first, but I was able to cut in and out without issues. I used them on natural grass and on turf, I felt comfortable in both ground types. The exterior part of the boot has elevated ridges which feel great. I did notice some extra spin on the ball when comparing shots on goal with the Phantom Luna II’s vs a competitors boot without the ridges. The ridges do not protrude to the inside and are not felt when the boot is on. The only con is one that I expected, is the need for a shoe horn when putting the boot on. This may be because I have a wider foot and the elastic around the ankle makes it a little challenging to put on without the shoe horn. Besides that this boot is great and one to have in the collection. Not to mention I’ve received a lot of compliments on how great they look.

The Nike Phantom Luna II Elite FG is a great looking football boot, but that is where the magic ends. I thought that the styling was amazing but there were many areas where the boot could have been improved. First, it was very difficult to get onto my foot. The Dynamic Fit collar was a nice touch and stretchy enough, but did make it more challenging to put on than a traditional tongue would have been. In regards to the fit, I though the boot was tight in the toebox and unbalanced in the midfoot. The heel of the boot had a gap of space where I could not feel the heel of my foot against the back of the shoe. Overall I thought this was a slender fitting boot and I have a pretty slim foot. The lacing system was definitely not my favorite as the laces were also awkward to pull through the Gripknit upper. Also, I found the upper to be very stiff and it did not flex well when standing on my toes. The Cyclone 360 traction pattern was ok on natural grass but I thought was less than ideal on artificial grass. I did think the soleplate was more stiff than other Nike football boots that I own, however. I do not think I will be reaching for these Nike Phantom Luna II boots for my next football match.
