Paul George has an effortlessly smooth, reliably steady game. He takes his time, but he's always well-positioned to make the extra pass, cut through the lane, or nail a pull-up jumper. The PG 5 combines the agile low-top profile Paul likes with flexible Nike Air Strobel cushioning. The full-length Air unit is stitched directly to the upper, bringing the plush, bouncy cushioning right up under the foot—perfect for keeping PG feeling like he's moving on clouds.
Looks cool, but not the best support

Before I start, take this review as you will as I used these shoes for volleyball, not basketball. I ordered these and absolutely fell in love with the design I had made. However, when they arrived, they had a noticeable grey stain (my shoes were white) on them. I didn't see it as a huge deal, so I just dealt with it. They were going to get dirty anyway. Breaking them in was a disaster, I had blisters for two weeks straight and unfortunately, they first appeared when my team was playing for the championship at a team camp over summer. I didn't think too much of this as breaking in shoes is always a process. Sadly, these shoes failed me once again. One of the bubbles beneath the soles popped and I was forced to play with an elevated bump grinding into my foot, which made it extremely tender. I only used these shoes from July to October, yet they fell apart faster than any other Nike basketball shoe I have purchased before (about three pairs). Even my KD's had lasted two seasons and a half and are still in better shape than these. The shoelaces have completely fallen apart, which isn't a big deal, as you can just buy new ones, but you would think that for $110, you would be getting durable shoelaces. Finally, during this season, I felt pain in my ankles (the right one hurting extremely more than the left) that I had never felt before. I was diagnosed with Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome and was forced to buy new soles for my shoes. Although the I don't believe that the shoe was the main cause of this, I think it is worth mentioning. I am giving these shoes a two stars instead of one just because I loved the design so much.
Kind of Snug.

This shoe is a good shoe but not a fit for me. I have wide feet. I owned a pair of the PG 3’s and got them in a size 10.5, with Nike basketball socks they were a great fit. But now, these new PG 5’s are not for me. I bought a size 10 and they are to snug in the midsection. I bought a pair of 10.5 ‘s and those were two long. They were longer than my PG 3’s in the same size. The PG 3 and 5 feel similar in sole so I know they will be good but unfortunately they do not fit my feet right in either size so I have to return them.

Love the colors. They are more vibrant in person.
