I bought these for my trip to Japan and they felt great for 10+ km and 15,000 steps each day. I even tested them out in the water and they’re completely waterproof up to the top of the heel.

  • Finished a Trek in Patagonia in These

I did a 50 mile trek in Torres del Paine national park in Patagonia Chile in these. They went through all sorts of extreme conditions and terrains while keeping my feet dry and comfortable. The front part of the sole of the right side came off slightly, but I'd still recommend these shoes to those who prefer to hike in trail runners instead of hiking boots. I usually wear size 11, but sized up to 11.5.

I have both pairs of the trail 4's, one gore tex, one not. Had to have both. I use them regularly and they do not disappoint. Always a perfect, stable well balanced shoe. Absolutely love the Pegs!
