Kyrie Irving is a creative force on and off the court. He needs his shoes to keep up with his playmaking, but also sync with his boundary-pushing style and ethos. Tuned for the next generation of energy return, control and speed, the Kyrie 7 "Samurai Ky" helps players at all levels take advantage of their quick first step by optimizing the shoe's fit, court feel and banking ability.

High Quality, comfortable shoes with style
Jblake - Mar 04, 2021
My husband recently got the Kyrie 7s and has been raving about them ever since we opened the box. One of his favorite features is the back of the shoe because it goes up higher and makes it easy to grip and slide his foot in, unlike other shoes he has worn in the past. Originally, he thought they would be a basketball shoe, but has been wearing them during the day because of how comfortable and lightweight they are. They are wide enough for comfort, but snug enough for stability. The shoe provides great traction on the basketball court. While playing, the tread of the shoe grips to the court very nicely and he never felt like he was going to slip. The design of the shoe is very detailed and the print under the netting is visually appealing. You can definitely see the thought that went into designing these. The orange and blue on this specific shoe were a little bold for his liking and his main complaint was that he did not have a lot of outfits-casual or basketball, that would go with the colors. That is not stopping him from wearing daily! Overall, this shoe is highly recommended for both a basketball player, and/or someone who wants a sturdy, super comfortable, and well-designed shoe for everyday wear.
Versatile and Comfy

My husband loves a good pair of sports shoes. Especially a stylish pair that can transition from casual wear to workouts. Nike’s Kyrie 7 shoes definitely stand out from the crowd in terms of looks and performance. The bold design of this shoe can pair with workout clothes or jeans pretty easily. Their versatility makes them a good choice for trips when you are limited to how much you can put in your suitcase. My husband’s Kyrie 7s are a blue and orange combo. While he likes the blue, the orange is a bit too dull for his taste. He usually prefers a monochromatic, solid colored shoe instead so that it sleek and not too busy. This shoe overall is pretty comfortable and seems like it would hold up well over time. The inside is pretty cushioned and seems breathable (very important for workouts!) but the best part about this shoe is how lightweight it is. It really feels like wearing air, perfect for his pickup basketball games. A size 13 fits true to size, however the width is a little snug for his wide feet. This shoe is closer to a low top so your foot shifts around a little bit when active. It would be better if there was either a higher heel or a strap across the front to help hold your foot in place. It would also be nice if there was loop on the back of the heel to help you pull the shoe on (just personal preference). Overall he is pretty pleased with these as both a basketball and casual shoe, although a couple improvements could be made.
Eye Catching but Fits a Little Tight

I really like the color and style of the shoe. The blue and yellow design is eye-catching and sporty without being too gaudy. I could do without the plastic pieces on either side of the laces though. At times I've felt them poking into the top of my foot. The soles feel like you're walking on memory foam - super comfortable. They fit like other Nike shoes that I've purchased in the past: they feel like they run about a half size small and slightly narrow, and the toe box is a little small. I've worn them for a few HIIT-style work outs and some basic strength training, and they were comfortable with good ankle support. Overall these are a quality pair of Nikes that I'd feel comfortable recommending to a friend.
