Originally released in 1979, the Nike Daybreak is a blast from the past. Featuring the same rubber waffle outsole, it gives you true vintage style.

Shoes are super comfortable for walking, and look great under a casual dress. But the inner seam directly over the toes is bulky, and socks are required.

For reference, I am normally 8.5 in all shoes and sneakers/shoes/boots, however in this shoe the 8 fit me perfectly. So, if you are normally an 8.5, you should most definitely order a 8 in this sneaker. They are stylish, light and airy, and durable. I hope I have helped someone!

.... you can wear these! I'm always bummed that these retro styles rarely fit my square-ishly wide feet. They're usually too narrow and stiff. Based on the reviews, I decided to take a chance on the Daybreaks, even going down to my true 7.5 size, instead of sizing up to 8 or 8.5 for more width. And holy cats, they fit, and comfortably! They have good cushion, nice flexibility in the toe box (even accommodating a pretty sizeable bunion) and no heel slippage. Now I need to buy, like 3 more colors before they disappear. :) So happy to have found these!
