While these speedsters could easily pass the test on race day, they double as your go-to shoe for your training routine. The supportive fit and soft cushioning work together to make them comfortable enough to withstand those double-digit mileage days, and light enough to help quicken your tempo when the time is right.

Great shoes. Left foot fit perfectly. Right foot is off-centered (might be manufacturing defect). Ordered the same pair in same size. Hope new pair fit properly. Nike customer service is top notch 😄

Air Pods Blew After 100 miles

I'm a marathoner and I bought 3 pair to rotate for an upcoming training cycle... I supinate when I run which puts heavy pressure on the outside air pads... The pads blew on all three pair shortly after 100 miles... After that, it felt like I was running on flat tires... I've bought tons of Nike's over the years (I won't wear another brand), but for the cost, these were highly disappointing... I have a marathon in April and I'm going to probably switch to the new Zoom 4's for this 20 week (80-110 miles/week) training cycle.

But felt compelled in this case. Running kept me going during lockdown, though I almost had to stop entirely last year due to a problem with my toe. Fortunately, the Tempo NEXT% came out right when I was struggling with what to do. The stiffness and overall design of these shoes allowed me to continue running while protecting my toe from excessive flexing. They're not as "comfortable" as the Asics I used to run on, but they have ample space in the toe area, clamp tightly around my heel (feels very secure), and I am able to recover from long runs much faster. One tip I would add is that I was able to tear out the thin insoles and throw in a pair of Superfeet Run Comforts instead. The combination works really well. I own 3 pairs of these, all of which are holding up well, and I have logged a ton of miles preparing for my first marathon. None of this would have been possible if I hadn't found the perfect shoe for me at the right time.
