4.5 Stars

Overall good shoe and this 4 star is only for the fly ease model. The Velcro system only tightens the ankle area leaving the mid sole and toe area loose. I personally like my shoes tighter on runs so I am exchanging them for the same model but just with the regular laced up version.

Troublesome Lacing System for Tightening

JonRAagaard - Oct 30, 2021

I am an avid Nike supporter and I love the Pegasus in general. However, this model really falls short. Given the flyease lacing system, wearers are only able to tighten the top half of the laces. Wearers cannot tighten the bottom half of the laces because the entire lacing system is not connected. The bottom half of the lace is sewn into the shoe's upper and is not attached to the top half of the lace. As such, wearers cannot tighten below mid-point of the shoe's tongue. Personally, I need the laces much tighter as I have a narrow foot, and because this is not possible with this model, my feet and toes really slide in the toe box area. Nike should have disclosed this fact in the product description; I would not have purchased had I known this fact. Buyer beware.

fits like a glove.
