Pros: Best cushioning basketball shoes on the market Cons: runs very narrow and should be made a mid top instead of a hi top restricting movement

The Air Zoom G.T. Jump Basketball Shoes is a very comfortable shoe with incredible ankle support. The shoes style and Black/Ghost - Vapor Green color combo compliment each other to make a cool and futuristic shoe. They have mesh on the sides which allows my feet to breathe easily and not overheat which is a major bonus. The shape of the shoe hugged my foot perfectly through my arch and my ankle/heel was locked in place. My toes did feel a bit pressed against the front of the shoe, from the ball of my foot forward. I think I could have gone up to a size 14 just for some extra toe space. I am typically a Mens size 13 in Nike Basketball shoes. They did a good job of staying dry when I got caught in the rain walking home from work and even completely dried during my subway ride. I wore these for a full “normal” day in New York City. A day that started at work and ended with some exercise with a few subway rides in between. I work in a television studio so I was on my feet for about 12 hours that day and these Zoom G.T.s were the support I didn’t know I needed. After work I made my way to a local park which has a blacktop basketball court where I got to see how these shoes really perform. The first thing I noticed was that these shoes can grip. The ankle support I had been feeling all day really shined when I was jumping. These provided a great cushion for landing as well. I was very happy with how these felt after an hour of running around. Will definitely be adding these to the rotation.

First let me start by saying I love the Oreo colorway of these shoes. The paint splatter on the midsole adds a nice touch, while the knit/netting (jump wire) gives it more of a futuristic look. The bottom sole is made out of a gel material which helps grip your feet to the floor easier. When it comes to how the shoe fitment, they are somewhat of a true fit. The only part where it fits somewhat snug is in the ball area mostly because of the midsole support that wraps around the shoe. If you have wide feet I would definetly recommend trying them on first, And like most shoes I’m sure they’ll feel better once you break into them. Overall these are great basketball shoes, and would recommend them if you are looking for some new hooping shoes.
