After 29 marathons, I confirm Nike is the reference and stable in short running shorts. I have every generation. Here is the down-low, that tissue is exceptional, paper thin and does not stick to the skin when wet. It is light. One major disadvantage, when you run, the tissue moves in at the crotch so in front, looks like you are wearing a brief - not an issue but surprising. Makes the back more flowy. But I gave this five stars because of the side cut, simply perfect when you sit or lift a leg. Very nice leg and makes a V on the leg... I already ordered another pair.

Bought them as a joke for a man’s birthday gift. Tons of laughs were had when the shorts were opened and again when tried on. Later I was told that, while it took much nerve to wear them on an actual run, they were amazing...despite the wind catching the side slit and making them as revealing as Tarzan’s loincloth. Thank goodness for the liner.
