I love everything about these shorts. As a very active person, I want to put on clothes and not think about them. These shorts conformed so well to my body that I almost forgot they were on. As a very small person (I am 5'2, 92 lbs, and athletic. I got a size XS), I tend to have trouble finding a good fit, especially around the waist. These did very well in that department and I was also able to fold the waist down comfortably without losing the style. And as a person who hates carrying a purse, I was really excited to see card-slot pockets around the entire waistband. The material is thick enough to be quality but not so much as to be bulky (a pet peeve of mine) and the color is fantastic. My butt looks fantastic (well, for a girl with no booty), too! No complaints, honestly.

I received these shorts to test and I am SO glad I did! I love these shorts and have worn them everywhere! I’ve worn them bike riding, while weeding our garden, as extra support under casual style short dresses, and even just to lounge around the house. They are extremely comfortable and I LOVE the deep pockets on the sides. I carry my phone everywhere and with all the bending and moving- my phone never fell out of the pockets. I am roughly 5’11 and about 225 so it is hard to find comfortable apparel sometimes unless it is on the looser fitting size. I wore an XL in these shorts and did not feel as if they were too loose or too tight. The only con I had was that there was no built-in “underwear” so I had to wear underwear underneath for extra comfort.

Bike shorts with pockets are the cream of the crop these days, but the second I put these on I noticed a design flaw - the center seam. I get it, the seam helps make the booty look good, but not without some serious camel toe. I wore these shorts with regular underwear around the house for chores, and was tugging on them non-stop. I wore them working out (weights + yoga) and had similar issues. The only relief I could find is if I paired them with a pad or panty liner to stop the seam from riding up. Not a bad solution, but not one I want to marry with wearing these shorts forever. The color is nice but the fabric is a little shiny - it gives them a 1980’s vibe with the teal. I do like the retro logo. As for overall fit, they were great- I have a longer torso so I wish they were a tad higher waisted, but if you’re of average height these will hit above your belly button. The onseam length isn’t too long, but still long enough to prevent thigh chafing, if you have larger thighs. Pockets held a phone well, even when seated. All-in-all these shorts would’ve been a home run for me if that center seam wasn’t there.
