Naturally, the home shirt for La Roja is bright red. Less obvious are details throughout the shirt that are a nod to the country’s vibrant culture, such as the typeface inspired by Santiago’s street signs and Chilean car number plates. The graphic inside the collar fuses the five-point star from Chile’s national flag, the football association crest and the eight-point star from the Mapuche war flag.
The graphic on La Roja’s away jersey is inspired by the Andean condor. The design represents the extended wings of the country’s national bird.
