"My name is Niek Pulles, I'm Dutch, I'm a Senior Concept Designer within Catalyst and ISPA is part of that team … team team team team team team. Shamees, Rikke and Darryl".

"I'm Shamees Aden. I am a Senior Footwear Designer for ISPA. Working here in WHQ".

"Hey, my name is Rikke. I am originally from Denmark but I work and live here now, and I am a Material Designer for the Catalyst Team".

"Hi everybody, my name is Darryl Matthews and I'm the VP of Catalyst Footwear Design, and I'm also very fortunate to be a Footwear Designer for the ISPA Team".

"ISPA represents a belief that with a little inspiration any problem can be solved with the materials at hand".

"Chapter 1, let's introduce ISPA. Improvise. If you think about what Improvise, Scavenge and Protect means, the 'I' stands for that we will never be blocked by the first answer to a problem".

"'S' stands for Scavenge, and really what that means is to find the best processes, materials, tools at hand and innovations as well, to help problem-solve".

"The 'P' stands for Protect and it's the idea that the solution must protect against the problem".

"And finally, Adapt is our solutions to fit the broadest potential".

"We're inspired by social, political, cultural and environmental movements, and I think what a great source of inspiration for the collection that we're going to show to you today. It's really about looking at our built environment".

"Let's move on to the next chapter, the ISPA Link. Let's chat a bit more about how the shoe ultimately came into existence".

"It was more like self-exploration, we really wanted to kind of think about the future of ISPA and think about how do we get to a future state of how we can potentially build better and think about circularity within our product journeys".

"We set ourselves a task just to basically remove the cementation process from the shoe, which is just remove all the glues …"

"… and we end up with a minimal amount of componentry, which was three removable components. It was the tooling, the upper and the lace. Every shape is this shape for a reason".

"Just by eradicating the glues, we now have no heat tunnels, we have no cooling tunnels, we have no conveyor-belt systems. The labour intensities have been minimised. And it's …"

"… incredible how much it's reduced our CO2 emissions. It's important to say that this is also, again, a work in progress, and this is the first stage of trying to solve this problem".

"Can we also explain a little bit more what circularity means to us, and why it's so important? Circularity is about the idea of having a closed-loop economy".

"And in order to achieve that, you have to understand what is 'designed for disassembly' and understand how you can build a product that can be separated".

"It's interesting to share what's coming next for ISPA. There's a lot of conversation around well-being and how we're starting to apply that into some of our future-forward concepts".

"We were curious about proprioceptions and sensations within shoes, and I think we wanted to explore that further and I think we've done that with the Sense that's going to come out".
