The Nike Phantoms are supportive, secure, and fast! Looks: The shoe is simple and doesn’t draw attention. Perfect for the quiet professional who stuns people with skills instead of looks. Performance: These cleats dig deep to make acceleration/deceleration a breeze. They also turn on a dime! Feel/Fit: These have great support. The footbed feels cushy and supports my arch. The laces keep my foot secure and don’t pinch. The heel cup keeps my narrow heel locked-in. My only gripe is I wish the cleat had about another 1/8”-1/4” of space in the toe box. My toes felt like they were going to cross each other with how tight it was in the tie box. Conclusion: Great fast and secure cleat if you like the more narrow feel in the toes.

The soccer boots come in the standard orange box with legible size and price tag. The boots feel really light due to its synthetic material. They come with the standard stud plastic bottoms which grips very well on soft grass fields. The tongue and top of the boot were first hurting the top of my foot but with a little tongue/shoelace adjustment it went away. Everything else about the boots were great, especially for the price. I’ve played in $250 dollar boots and I could not tell the difference. I practice in them for an hour and felt good the whole time. I would definitely recommend these to my fellow soccer players.
Molded cleats - 18 Sept 2022
I recently went with the Nike G2 MG & I was pleasantly surprised. Its been many years since I played collegiate soccer & the molded cleats we used back in my day we’re a lot heavier & had cleat patterns that were prone to catching & picking up chunks of mud/dirt & grass which made for loss of traction. These on the other hand were very light & very responsive to all surfaces. I tried them on natural & artificial turfs & I loved most everything about them. The grass didn’t clog the bottom & the shoe provided much comfort in most portions of the foot. The only problem I came across was Due to having more of a wide foot & this cleat seemed to rub my little toe raw. It’s hard to make cuts or wear for long periods when this happens. Aside from that, these cleats were a real winner & I recommend this shoe if you have a child playing little league or beginner level soccer. I’d def recommend going up a few levels and spend the extra money for a more advanced cleat depending on your level of expertise.
