How This Was Made

  • In 2019, 86% of our cotton was organic, recycled or Better Cotton. We are working to source more sustainable cotton across our entire product line, with a goal to reach 100% by the end of 2020. That means using certified organic and recycled cotton, and cotton sourced through the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI).
  • BCI trains farmers to use water efficiently, care for soil health and natural habitats, reduce use of the most harmful chemicals and respect workers' rights and well-being. Organic cotton delivers the same long-lasting comfort and breathability as conventional cotton, and is grown without the use of fossil fuel-derived pesticides or synthetic fertilisers. Since organic cotton is developed using farming techniques that help replenish soil fertility, it also has a lower carbon impact than conventional cotton.
