Moon Shoe

Picking what shoe that I'm wearing, I think sets the tone of my day. I think whether it's a sneaker or a flat or even a little heel. Hi, I'm Karen Gonzalez, and this is my episode of SNKRS Style.

Storytelling when I'm styling is super important. I think building a character or just a world around what I'm presenting to somebody, a Moon Shoe is a perfect shoe for my world. Lives well in the world of vintage. 

The material of the shoe is really great. The nylon gives it a very sporty feel. And also the colorway is really nice. I think you can kind of pair it with something where there's pops of colors, but also you can wear it with something as simple as a denim and I think it makes it just really special.

Getting into my first look, different fabrics really play a key part. I think this way with the nylon and then this canvas. I like different textures and I like a different feel and I think that's really important, especially if there's not too many layers going on. 

Now going into my second look. Yeah, I think the simplicity of the outfit, the shoe gives a lot of flexibility to add accessories. It's playful and you can add gloves or a hat or eyewear, and I think it just takes it to the next level. For me, denim is very simple and classic, but can go well with anything.

Getting into my third look, kind of a reverse version of what I'm wearing right now. Simple, classic, sporty.

The gloves for this outfit in particular, it being so simple just gives it a very special feel and it's just a detail that's a bit unusual, but I think it's cool and it makes sense.
