Hi. I’m Seunghyuk Kang from Worksout.
This Air Max 95 in my hand was Worksout’s beginning
and is the future of Worksout.
It had to be Air Max 95.
Back in the school days, I found a foreign website
selling those Air Max 95s.

We were like “Maybe we can make some pocket money by selling those?”
and that, eventually turned into today’s Worksout.
So we all thought it should be the 95
if we’ll ever do any collabs with Nike.
Speaking of the design of Worksout’s Air Max 95,
we all eager to show off so
we put our name [Worksout] in the face of box.

“Proper high school sensation” was the biggest concept.
So you can feel like entering a school gate
when the box is opened.
Our school uniform was in Khaki, top to bottom
we thought why don’t we put that colour
on the upper of the 95?

Actually, the 95 makes a bit of chunky shape.
We tried to make it as slim as possible.
Simplified the original’s layer and
created variation with reflective elements.
Big Swoosh in in the centre of the upper
unlike the original’s small one and the pattern on it
is from the wall of Worksout store.

Details on the heel cup is from the material of
store fixtures, giving wibbly-wobbly sensation.
Insole says, “Become Indispensable”
which is from a monument in our high school.
We wanted school kids to be indispensable someday
so added the message in the shoe.

We put huge effort in this project.
I believe it will be the coolest shoe of the year.
We’ve been writing our book for 26 years
it feels like a huge chapter in it is just completed.

The grown-ups always said to us like
“Everything is changing so fast and your chance to bloom is getting slim.”
Since when we listen to them?
Just do it. It’ll be all and it all works out.
