Nike Pegasus Trail 2 GORE-TEX

I've had mine for about 6 weeks now, and covered a little over 100km in them. I've experienced rain, sleet, snow, and ice underfoot with no issues at all.

For years I've wanted waterproof sneakers (not hiking shoes, not specific water shoes), and these are great. They are super comfortable, have good traction, and put up with our Pacific Northwest weather. For good or ill, they breathe really well, so on cold rainy days, they won''t keep your feet warm (but neither will they overheat when running). I'm not in love with the giant Gore-tex logo and the heel kind of sticks out too far for my style, but on the whole, I'm thrilled to finally have a comfortable, high quality, fully waterproof shoe that looks good.

These are then most comfortable trainers from new for me. I had no hot spots or blisters On the first few runs which is unusual for me. I have run on trails that were quite muddy and wet and my feet (upper toes) got pretty wet although I did not submerge my feet, this was just from splashing off the other foot. My ankle and heels were dry dos the water did not come through from there, just the top of the toe part of the trainers on both feet. I went for a run today in light rain and run through a puddle of around 1’ deep and around 4 metres long - again my toes were wet on both feet. I really like these trainers but they must have forgot to make My ones with gortex as they are not water proof/resistant at all as nike claim.
