This is Untied, powered by Jordan brand. We passed the torch to the amazing, Julia Lebosse, based in London, to shine the light on those shaping the culture on sneakers and more.

Sneaker culture is more than materialism. Cause I was always quite shy, and I think that I still am. So I think it was kind of how I expressed myself, how I show my personality with people without having to say anything.

For most of my life, I was swimming. 18 hours a week, competitions every few weekends. But, over lockdown, having so much more time, I was really able to dig deep into the online sneaker world

and I realised there is just not enough women being featured anywhere. I saw it as a problem that just needed fixing. "SNEAKERSBYWOMEN" is kind of just like 'oh yeah! This makes sense to do!'. Then it just progressed naturally.

There's so many people behind the scene of sneakers. And highlighting women within the industry it's kind of an educational platform as well. It brings people together.

I feel like, London is where everything happens. Sneaker culture here is really prominent. It's been somewhere where I've found my people, I guess. Having a community makes you feel included and a part of something bigger.

It can just help you find yourself, I'm proud of how far I've come in the last few years. That was untied, with Julia Lebosse.
