of status, of taste. TNs were and still are a symbol;

people have always worn them with pride. Madrid is a wild city. It has always been seen as a city that never sleeps, that never stops. A city full of energy

where there’s always something to do. I’ve painted in many cities and realized that here, we mix. Madrid has a different heartbeat, and the hustle spreads through all its streets.When I first started painting, we crossed the city on foot, from

south to north and east to west. We understood the city as a whole, and that shaped the way I see things. Now, when I work, when I create, I speak of that. Of movement, but also of stillness. I’ve learned to stop, to enjoy, and then to keep going. With my work,

I aim to push the limits of the walls, to expand them. I use the line to draw, and I accompany it with my body. In the end, my body becomes my own tool.

It’s through moving that I learn, discover, and understand places—cities and mountains alike. Movement is not just what I talk about; it’s my

way of life. And these sneakers are always with me.
