Yes, yes I'm Will Stowe and this is Sneakers On The Ground. We're in South London for the Future Forward Festival. We're gonna be speaking to black creative businesses, DJ's and the community in attendance. Let's go.

Future Forward Festival is put on by Nike and Jordan brand. How have those 2 brands shaped your view of streetwear and sport? Erm, massively I think Nike have definitely been one of the brands that has always wanted to you know get into the grain of things. Erm, get into the streets and do things different.

I'm here with my guy Ish. What you saying Ish, How you doing my brother? Serving the people some good African Caribbean meals. And that's really the most and best thing you want. Just people loving your food and loving what passion you've put into it. Yeah yeah. It's making sense, It's making sense. It's making sense.

So another important aspect of black culture is how we look and how we feel, staying fresh and fly is everything that we do. We are holding a braiding class to teach black girls how to braid.  

We need to embrace our hair, I feel like it's important for black girls to be able to braid. Do you know what, I braid people's hair now, as soon as it's done they're like oh my god i love it, they're looking in the mirror playing with their hair.  

So we're here just to represent, black culture. We're here to represent Nike and everything as a whole. Taking those full icons, and kind of translating them into what we do, which is making Grillz.

So taking that, and kind of providing it in a way for everyone to have. It's like everyone can have it anyone can be a part of this. Thats strong we love that. Ha ha. So I'm here with Badu Sports today, erm we're taking care of the football section. So just trying to do mini games for everyone with some challenges with some prizes provided by Nike.   

Ayyyyy, at least it went in, at least it went in, at least it went in. So this has been SNKRS On The Ground, we've been in South London for the Future Forward Festival. A celebration of black sport and culture. Unfortunately i'm not gonna make it to the premiership but I've had a great time. See you guys at the next one.
