What's going on people my name's Will Stowe. This is SNKRS On The Ground and this weekend we're in Barcelona for the Nike SB 20th anniversary exhibition. We're gonna be speaking to skaters, we're gonna be speaking to skate stores and people from all around the community. 

My name is Petar Stanchev, and my nickname is Stewie. Who inspired you to skate? My first inspiration in skate is all my homies. 

Yeah? From Italy where I start to skate, and they motivate me a lot. Because they see that I really like skateboarding, but at the beginning was really hard for me. They helped me to find a small board and everyone motivate me in the skate community.

 I'm Cata Diaz and I'm a skateboarder from Chile, and I live in Barcelona. Whats the community like and how do they support you in Barcelona?

There's a lot of people, especially in the skate community that are immigrants like me, that have been living here on their own and they don't have their families or whatever, so we get to create this community that is like a big family. 

The first time i got on top of a board and like just pushed I was like 'oh my God this is the coolest thing i have ever done'. 

The community here is really funny because, basically we have friends everywhere.

When we're together it just feels like, OK we're here to support each other.
