Something is different

Giving these three stars because while this pair had to be returned, I have another pair of Vaporflys that I love. Not sure what changed with the Ekidens but my heel felt like it was slipping out of the shoe while walking and running. I wore different socks, changed the lacing style and nothing helped. These look amazing just wish they fit like my other pair. I encourage anyone considering the Vaporflys to go for it. it is a fantastic racing shoe.

Considering I have a wide foot these feel extremely positive in fitment providing plenty of cushioning for a low impact feel. When you first stand after putting them on there is some getting used to them. When you are static you feel a bit unstable however they really shine once you get moving. They provide plenty of bounce making them effortless to run in.
Wonderfully light, a big improvement over the Vapor 4%

I had the Vapor 4%, and, while this shoe has a similar fit and feel, it is a marked improvement over the 4%. The footbed feels much more stable, especially in turns. The upper does a great job holding my foot in place. I would say that this shoe runs smaller than the Alphafly; I wear a 7 in that shoe and a 7 1/2 in this (as well as the Vaporfly 4%).
