Hi, I'm Imani-Lara Lansiquot and today I'm here with KNWLS and Nike in Milan. So, I did my first ever, like, editorial shoot for the Face Magazine, like, way back when I was, like, 22. I was a baby.

It was before my first Olympic Games. The look that we shot was a KNWLS piece. And it was the first time I felt like I really got to see, like, fashion and sport fused together.  

This is such a full circle moment. Being a sprinter, being someone that's so focused on performance and being my best

I just had to really, like, knuckle down, and no matter what time we were shooting, what time I was submerging my head in a water tank in Paris, I just really wanted the product to be exactly what Charlotte and Alex had envisioned, and so I probably, like, a bit of that

like, single mindedness came into it from being an athlete, and I was so happy for the final result. It's just insane.  

So, I feel like I like things that are quite loud, quite unapologetic, but also polished. That's probably how I would describe my style.

I'm actually wearing something that hasn't been worn before yet. I'm going to be the first person to wear it. Honestly, I feel like it really does align with my style quite well. I think the only thing I would wish is that maybe I could find a way to race in it, so we’ll have a chat with Charlotte afterwards;

can you make a race kit like this? We'll see. 
Surprisingly, this is the most lightweight, figure-hugging material. I think I've ever worn. That's, like, not traditional sportswear. I grew up watching sports women at a young age. They were so pigeonholed into one thing,

and I think it's important that we make little versions of me, little girls everywhere know that women are so multifaceted. 
Sport is daring, sport is unapologetic. It's rebellious, it's pushing the boundaries, and that's exactly what I think fashion is as well
